I'm curious as to how you define your painting process. Is it a completely lineless process, only using a rough sketch under it, etc.?
Actually, I too, love the way you painted the face. It certainly remains true enough to your usual style. Again, it's certainly nice to see a bit of a different direction going with your art. Not that I don't love your usual art style, but seeing your talent stretching out to other things is always nice to see!
The noticeable difference in the stark lighting contrast between the belt and everything else is great. Nice to see it painted convincingly enough of that metal quality. Yet it's interesting to see that Spiers's demon form or at least his gray parts appear to be rather dull. I thought they would have at least some sense of a fairly sharp reflective quality to them.
Musings aside, keep up the great work as always!
