And now here's the winner of the poll from a few month's back! Good ol' Spiers.

Name: Xavier Spiers (prefers just Spiers)
Age: ???? (estimated to be in the thousands)
Species: Demon

Personality: Spiers is simply put, a jerk with a heart of gold. Being thousands of years old, he knows A LOT about the supernatural world and often knows what to do, taking precaution with anything he is unaware of. He tends to come off as a jerk since he pokes fun at people fairly often in times of low risk. No matter how mean he can get, if your his ally, he'll keep you safe to the best of his ability, however, gtting on his bad side is highly unadvised. Spiers is a bit prideful...

Abilities:
-Black Magic: Spiers is a master at using this highly versatile and destructive magic. Its only purpose is unholy destrcution
-Scythe: Spiers sometimes summons a scythe in combat and enjoys being creative in its use. Why a scythe? Because screw you.
-Real Form: That flaming sonofabitch is what Spiers really looks like, the human appearence is more of a guise but has sentimental attachment
-Shadow Melding: Spiers has the ability to phase into the shadows and become intangible, and can also travel through shadows at high speeds.
-Demon Physiology: Spiers has a faster healing factor than normal.

Weaknesses:
-Attacks of a light-base or a holy-base harm him considerably more than normal methods
-Light shone directly on the shadow Spiers inhabits when he melds into the shadows will reveal him into a physical form, vulnerable
-Just because the human form is a guise, doesn't mean he can't feel pain. He can.
-He has to consume souls to stay strong

Backstory:
Spiers has lived several, several lifetimes. Most of them, he was THE villain. A destuctive and formidable force. Rightfully so since he is the prince of Pride. But then, something happened to him. No one what that was but whatever it was, he wanted to turn his life around. Be the good guy. In his more recent lifetimes, he's discovered just how hard of a switch that is. Fighting against your own nature as well as the pre-conceived idea in every society that demons are EVIL. In his most recent previous lifetime, he finally saw a turnaround and gained acceptance (then again, everyone in that lifetime was a deviant). And now, he's brought into a new lifetime once more decades later in time of dire need.
(lol this is filled with so many holes its not even funny. But then I'd have spoilers >u> )
