ENGLISHEnglish version of a photoshop coloring tutorial, it's originaly made for two friends and , but I hope it can help you all.
It looks kind of long =_= but that's because it has a lot of image references, I think it's better that way...
It's separated on various parts:
-Base colors.
-Masks.
-Shading.
-Lighting and eyes.
-Color for a pencil-made lineart.
-Bright on hair.
-Final effects.
Please sorry if you notice that my english is horrible xD.

I've just got adobe illustrator, now I have to lear how to use it. Is it better than ps? or just different?

its way different. its not photo editing, its using the pen tool to trace around images to turn them into... uh... man... i dont remember what the files are called. EPs? i dont remember.
at first its real hard, but after alota practice you get the hang of it and start learning tricks and stuff like that

It looks very helpfull, I just have one question... I did a lineart and scanned it on, except it came up as just the background. How do I put this onto a different layer like yours? Thanks!

(using photoshop) That always happens when you scan something. You have to pres M key (on the keyboard to make the selection tool appear), select all the drawing with that tool, cut it with Ctrl+X, then paste it with Ctrl+V. When you paste the drawing it will appear on a different layer, then you put that layer on Multiply mode and you can start coloring : )
