These pictures are so gosh-darn adorable. I love their expressions, and I love how clearly you communicate their complex feelings. There is something that is so vulnerable about Genma, perhaps communicated through his posture and his unwillingness to leave, that I like an awful lot. Hatsu looks gorgeous. So beautiful. I also love how although this scene looks like it belongs in the Naruto universe, your drawing style is distinct and very much your own.

This is a very pretty drawing! You can see a lot of the emotion of the moment. Only thing you might want to change is the backstory - Genma was on a genin team with Gai and Ebisu
