So I had this little metal unicorn charm that I carried around with me everywhere, in my pocket, for the longest time.
Then one day last week, it was gone

All I did for days was cry and cry, until finally, in a fit if rage, I drew this picture.

Sort of a "the most beautiful creature meets the ugliest human who ever lived" type thingy.

Everyone: Hey Lums, why does everyone on the net think you're a girl at first?

Silence!

Anyway, I couldn't help but make some backstory for them (^ ^)

Gorgon:

Name: Mids

She was kind of a jerk growing up. The kind of person who would torment small creatures and never said a single word without some sarcastic meanness under it. She ended up living all alone because everything that she ever met became a stone statue after experiencing her petty caprices. One day she realised how sad she really was for having isolated herself from everything that tried to infiltrate her cloister, and decided to try and live a "nice" life. That's when the snakes in her hair went dormant (that's how you can tell a good gorgon from a wicked one) and the curse that made living things turn to stone was discontinued. but by then, her and her mansion gained a reputation that made all living creatures unwilling to approach.

Unicorn:

Name: Sif

The other unicorns think of her sort of as a celebrity. Not because she's much more kind hearted or courageous than the others, but more because her alicorn resembles the style that the older unicorns describe in the old fables. Because of that, everyone expects great things from her and lays the burdon of a heavy destiny on her shoulders. But she "knows" that she doesn't have any of the qualities that people of destiny are supposed to have, so she spends most of her time alone. One day, she wandered nearby Mids' mansion...

EDIT: There were some crappy blotches all over the place that I had to get rid of.
I always forget to clean off the scanner glass...
