This is my first real serious attempt to CG drawing, with a mouse. I'm not really satisfied with the result, but it's ok enough for me, so please go easy with me, I won't accept to much critisms but I'll be glad of useful advices
I had fun but it took me so long! (almost 20h, to understand how PS7 works and to use my mouse properly, I also had to change many details of the original lineart)
The characters are Sora (brown-haired) and Roxas (blond-haired) which are 2 characters of Kingdom Hearts II ^^ Yeah I wanted a fanart of these two.
The wooded bench was really troublesome for me, I think drawing wood texture is easier with colored pencils [EDIT: Thanks to ~Fuu-Xia I tried to use a wood texture on the bench, does it look better?

I want to thank ~treijim who is an incredible cg-mouse-artist ^^ I used some of his scenery pic to learn how to cg forest and clouds

J'ai toujours préféré Roxas à Sora... Sans doute parce que Sora est... niaiseux... (Et Roxas est mignon en plus ! Je vais finir par joindre ~Yuki-mono et devenir un adepte du shotacon, ce qui ne serait pas glorieux...)
Tiens ! Je n'ai pas fini KH2 (je suis au moment où je dois combattre Xaldin dans le château de la Bête) mais le fait d'écrire les prénoms me fait réfléchir à un truc : Roxas, c'est le simili de Sora n'est-ce pas ?! J'y pense paske tous les membres de lOrganisation ont un "X" dans leurs prénoms, et lorsque tu enlèves ce "X" à "Roxas", on obtient les lettres d'un anagramme de "Sora"... Si j'ai bon, ben, j'ai deviné le dénouement, pas la peine que je continue à jouer... XD
Par contre dans ce dessin, je préfère Sora à Roxas ! Et il fait un très joli avatar soit dit-en passant !

J'aime autant les deux, et puis je trouve que sora est moins niais dans le 2 quand même... en lo'ccurence je trouve que sur mon dessin, c'est roxas qui a l'air particulièrement mou lol
mais si tu dois finir KH2 tu n'as pas tout le dénouement! Et puis l'organisation 13 c'est trop stylé!
Oui, pour les noms de l'organisation c'est tout bêtement des anagrammes de leur version humaine avec un X en plus... Sigmar =>brian, Xaldin=>dilan... etc... aaah mais j'ai aussi regardé les vidéos sous titrés de la version final mix!!! ya trop de trucs en plus trop bien j'en pleure!!!!!! T___T

ah oauis, mais dans final mix tu peux t'amuser à rebuter les membres morts de KH chain of memories, mais avec le mode de jeu de KH2 X) et en plus, tu peux tout simplement ré-affronter tous les membres vers la fin du jeu, mais en tant que boss optionnel, avec le nbre max de HP! (genre axel avec les stat de sephiroth XD)

it"s really good if it"s your first real cg ^^ but despite colouring this second boy doesn"t look good i guess that smthn> wrong with his eyes and nose (this with blond hair) anyway good job ^^

franchement c super! les couleurs sont vraiment belles tu les as bien choisies et puis tu as su garder ton style bien qu'on reconaisse les persos tout de suite c génial^^ Par contre je pense que tu devrais quand meme t'acheter une tablette graphique si tu peux (c bientot noel xD) en + on en trouve des pas trop cher sur internet, parce que c 100 fois plus facil tu fera des trucs super avec. Sinon pour le bois tu peux aussi mettre une texture C + simple^^ ==>tu choisis une foto de bois sur internet tu la pose sur ta branche (tu découpe le calque pour que la foto ait la meme forme que la branche) et apres tu change juste le mode du calque jusqu'à ce que l'aspect te convienne^^ (je c pa si c tres clair tout ca xD) en tout cas pour un début c tres bien^^

En fait j'ai peur d'investir tant que je n'en aurais pas essayé... bref, j'attends toujours, et puis je crois que je préfère le traditionnel (même si je ferais un peu de digital de tps à autre pk pas ^^)
J'attends ton tuto pour voir comment faire les textures ^^
Enfin, on peut aussi essayer de se torturer à essayer de le faire en vrai

whoa did u draw this whole thing wit a mouse or do lineart first? cuz jus a mous would be extremely hard lol. looks really good, one thing i have to suggest is roxases jaw line, although he is at a weird angle so i guess thats how it would be lol. good job.

no of course, the lineart of the caracter was done with a pencil, but the background was also with the mouse. your suggesion is quite right XD but it's too late now lool

or if your really want into digital painting , try to look for a Tablet
( those stylus pen with a board connect to usb )
i only started using tablet this year 8D but before that i only use mouse too >.<

yep i used wacom tablet .. but a lower version ( version 3 )
8D uhh generally wacom tablet is the best brand , though there is a cheaper one call Wizard's ...
hmmm yeah -_- tablet is quite expensive but it is definitely cheaper than Ipod or some other expensive gadgets D;
