Finally I decided to submit my entry for the #onelightchallenge

it has been several days that I refined this picture here and there... I decided it's finished now lol

Those who know my gallery this past year, know that I love chiaroscuro or claire obscur: pPainting with only one weak source of light... with lot of dark areas in the picture...
But! I wanted to change a little bit, though it's still one source of light, It has been a long time that I wanted to make a picture with a strong backlighting, so strong the character will become almost black, like when you take a photo in front of the sun.

As a big fan of FFX, I wanted to draw tidus again and it's a little reinterpretation of the ending scene... I wanted to add fireflies but thought it would just add other details that my distract from the main purpose of the picture. Moreover, fireflies are possible other source of light... so I might be out of subject as well!
Oh, and this design inspired from his look in the fighting game dissidia012, cause you know I like this kind of anatomy painting

I was not sure how his famous solid-water sword would look with this kind of lighting... so I did my best I guess!
I also think this picture kinda summarize all what I learnt with digital painting this last year, so I'm quite hapy of the result
