Just like my Body anatomy bases tutorial, I would like to introduce you the bases of hand anatomy.
This is an oversimplified version of course. You will see only what I think is the most relevant structures for an artist. We learnt way more tiny muscles in practice x)

On the Left you will see the Bone structures
On the right the muscles (most visible on the palmar view) and ligaments (on the dorsal view)
And in the middle, the shapes resulting of these structures.
