not really sure what those are...sky trains or sky shuttles, i guess. playing around with ambient lighting and perspectives...still learning
photoshop cs, no refs.
either way it's suicide, cars drive through in real time
you choose the stars in blue and white...i love you till i'm dead inside
plastic eyes look milky white, and the violence makes things hard to hide
our pale faces sink in time...either way it's suicide
i'm gonna jump the next train, gonna jump on a plane
take a ticket to the other side ~ young parisians feat. ben lost

I love the extreme perspective on this. It seems a little off on the right side of the building on the right, but otherwise the perspective looks fine.
The ambient lighting is beautiful, and I like that you explored it with both the warm orange-brown and the cool teal-blue.
And, of course, "Jump the Next Train" is a great song to accompany the picture, haha.

Do you draw your creations, I know you paint digitally, but do you create in dimensions and then digitally paint your finished project? I suppose my real questions is what tools do you uses, and by what means do you paint.

i only use photoshop cs. for this one i drew a horizon line, duplicated it and made it into two grids with two vanishing points. then i block out what general shapes i want the buildings to look like and brush some general abstract BG to tell myself what im putting there later. some details were added spontaneously later on.

you lose me with the grid concept, however I understood this for the most part, I imagined you used photoshop, if I let myself create I would use photoshop cs as well as my wacom . . . psp or animationshop for any animations. . . I do appreciate your answer

i might do a perspectives tut or something sometime...so if you're interested in learning horizon line/grid etc keep an eye out for that.
and i forgot to mention that i use a wacom also, of course
