Anyway, this is such a fascinating idea...great work on painting the rain. The background flows very nicely with the girl. I would consider adding eyes to the girl just to see what sort of mood changes are effected.

i must be blind or debilitated to have missed this.
i really *really* like the frills in the dress. there's a textural palpability there that is so often missed i think it makes me giddy to see it again.
and of course the image as a whole bears a peaceful darkness in both the color scheme and umbrella complex that i could certainly live with.
if it would only rain here. <_<

Very deep message here! Standing in the rain...getting soaked...while holding an unopened umbrella. Not to mention all the umbrellas around her. Sort of like being lonely in a room full of people! Makes you think. Which is what all great art should do. Good job!
