Reaching out for the freedom that was taken away.

I drew an illustration maybe two years ago called, "Caged Bird". Never posted it to DeviantART. Was going through some old drawings and picked it back up again and re-did it. Played with my airbrush a little bit. It kind of gives images a "mahou shoujo (magical girl)" feel. lol

Her wings are purposefully missing feathers. Her wings are clipped which means her secondary flight feathers were removed. Without these feathers, a bird cannot fly.

I never posted the original image to DeviantART as it never passed quality check. As I always say, I draw significantly more than I actually post because majority of my drawings do not make the cut for uploading. >__>;; And I often do several drafts of any one illustration before I settle on a final copy.
