As another comment already said, the red poison bottle fits nicely against the green background.
I think it is an interesting choice for a ' poisonous ' colour, most would use green as a typical choice.
I like the art nouveau look of that border, of the details my favourites are the buttons and the thick eyebrow.

Thank you very much! Well, I thought about Captain Hook's poison, actually. Weird, I know, but I'm working on Peter Pan for my studies so... Yeah.
Hook's poison is made of his tears with are bright red. Like blood... So yeah. Plus Snape holds the bottle as Snow-White hold her poisoned apple... I wanted a contrast between the background and the poison, so that the bottle attracts the eye! ^^
Thanks for the details. I noticed I'm more eager to work on details when i'm working in traditional medium...

Oh yeah I can imagine how hard his nose must have been.
Just take your time, sometimes I need quite long until I finish a drawing either. And also I'm very patient. ;3
