Description
This is a satire. Really poorly drawn. Sorry if you expect good Penny drawing from me.
Come on, Monty. A robot with a weapon port at the back? People will put tentacles in there. In hentai, tentacles are not exclusive for monster, a character type such as magician and witches, or robots, or humans who conveniently found secret grimoire are sometimes able to grow their own tentacles or robo-tentacles. Also, all robots inexplicably have a specific function or form just so they can have sex. Sometime they pull bullshit like emitting magnetic pulse or something to increase the pleasure. Also, robots can have orgasm, sometime saying something like "This is not within my programming.".
And, no matter how ridiculous the situation is, the 'receiver' always finds it to feel good.
Sorry, Ruby fans. not my fault that Penny interact almost exclusively to Ruby.

If Final Fantasy taught me anythi- oh wait, wrong RPG.
If Shin Megami Tensei has taught me anything, it's that you can always die. Painfully. Anywhere. So always be prepared with revival items.

Especially in a game where the first mook you encounter can and WILL kill you, if you are unprepared.
That is either Shin Megami Tensei, or Life. The two hardest games to survive, ever. Of all time.

Have you ever played any Halo game on Legendary difficulty?

I don't do Halo. I run a Playstation 3, which, by the way, runs the RWBY DVD pretty damn good.
But trust me, Halo has NOTHING on SMT. That game is known as one of the hardest games ever devised. So much so that in one game, having max stats barely grants you a 1/5 chance of beating the bonus boss. Seriously. 1/5 chance.

Yeah, you clearly have never played Halo on Legendary.
And bonus bosses are always overpowered on purpose.
In fact, if you want hard, try playing a game setting where you can only save a limited number of times and if you die, you have to start the whole game over again.

I've played a game like that. Just can't remember when.
And sir, if you think Halo is harder than fighting the Demi-Fiend, you have obviously never played Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne or Digital Devil Saga. Even Master Chief would bow to the Demi-Fiend.

Uhm, has he ever slain Gods, Demons, and the ACTUAL God? Does he command hordes of demons? Is he backed up by Lucifer him fucking self?! Yeah, even the Chief would bow.

Aqua311 In reply to DravynLeCrux [2013-11-14 14:11:44 +0000 UTC]
Well, the Covenant believe Forerunners are Gods and he's slain the Didact, the Forerunners' greatest military leader.
The Covenant believe Spartans are Demons and he's defeated them a number of times growing up among them. He's also the de facto leader of the Spartans, hence Demons.
The Precursors created the Forerunners and Humanity and when the Forerunners betrayed and slew their creators, the Precursors reverted to a powder-like state that, over time and through experimentation with a certain animal, mutated into the parasite known as the Flood. The central intelligence of the Flood is the Gravemind and the Chief has defeated him too.
If you think God is the creator of humanity, then yeah. He's defeated God as well.

Hmm, you're not doing too bad actually managing to try and keep up with me here.
But bottom line, a half-demon with nigh unlimited power and an army of demons, angels, and gods from various myths from around the world would be more than a match for the Master Chief.

Then to quote Shipmaster Rtas 'Vadum in Halo 3,
"Then it is an even fight,"
I'm not talking about a real battle, but John's chances of surviving don't matter. He's beaten the odds so often that the smartest of artificial intelligences no longer calculates them.

Fair enough. But. . .
On one hand, you have the best humanity can offer. He's taken down armies, destroyed gazillions worth of alien hardware, and has essentially proven to be a one man army.
On the other, you have a supernaturally gifted demi-human with the power to control every freaking myth on Earth, and utilize abilities that command every possible element, as well as having healing and revival magics.
This is basically putting a level 100 with perfectly chosen stats and the best possible armor and weapons against a GM or Admin. No offense, but odds at that point are useless.

The Chief manually detonated a nuclear warhead and survived.
What he has is luck.
The best part about facing a naturally superior foe is seeing the frustration on their face when you somehow prevail.
Like playing against a cheating computer chess program and manage to win.

I'd understand if he survived a few demons.
But millions of them who are nigh immune to nuclear attacks, able to completely regenerate and revive themselves via magic, and also aided by incarnations of gods and shit that can instantly kill him with a thought? No. Doesn't matter how much luck he has, the Demi-Fiend would win. It's not even a matter of if or maybe. It's straight up an impossibility for him to lose to the Chief, especially considering how many demons follow him, including Lucifer himself.

Hey, if Kratos and Dante can take on gods and demons, I don't see why John can't. After all, he's a Demon as well.

DravynLeCrux In reply to Aqua311 [2013-11-15 23:07:38 +0000 UTC]
Kratos is a fucking walking mass of rage, not a human himself. And Dante stole the scythe of the Grim Reaper himself.
The Chief just has guns, and a really nice tech suit. And also, I don't think Kratos or Dante could handle the Demi-Fiend either.

The Chief has a lifetime of military training and experience. He's been a conscript since he was six years old. Like Kratos, John is also a Spartan.
He's also augmented so that his muscles are stronger, his eyesight is better, his reflexes are off the charts and his bones are unbreakable. The suit not only provides protection, it makes him move to the speed of thought and amplifies his strength.
Paired with his AI companion in his neural interface only increases his reflexes further.
Growing up, his mentor put him and his fellow Spartans through gruelling and intense training missions that always had a twist to them. Something unexpected, forcing them to think and prepare themselves. To stay on their toes and think three steps ahead.

And all of this means what when your opponent can literally kill you just by thinking of it? Or if your opponent happens to have an all who just happens to be the most powerful of the fallen angels, capable of fighting off THE God and being victorious? Or if said opponent is capable of destroying multiple universes at once?
I'm always for the humans. But in this case, the Master Chief would NOT stand a chance. It's not even bias. It's simple fact.

Well then, if you believe the Master Chief is inferior, then Halo is the more difficult game series after all.
Especially if you play Legendary with all skulls on. I've only tried that once and I have no intention of doing so again.

Still, the bottom line is that a game is hard if the most common and weakest of enemies is capable of killing you easily.
Halo is one of those game series, if you play on Legendary.
But you can't, so it's a moot point in the end.
Bonus bosses in RPGs are always overpowered. Like the ones in Final Fantasy, Golden Sun and Kingdom Hearts games.
Have you played Birth By Sleep?

And trust me, I know what you mean. In Nocturne, a New Game +, even at a high level, and ou're likely to die by the first enemy you see. Same even if it's your first play through. But you are right, I have no way of comparing, so meh.

Well, that's why I developed my play style the way it is.
Screw fancy magiks and such. When it comes down to it, go apeshit with the melee, turn everything in your path into a punching bag. And when all is said and done, use a Curaga or two, heal up, and repeat! All it requires is reflex and skill. No grinding for strong moves at all.
