It had been another usual day of training, complete with Jean and Eren's fighting, Sasha's potato sneaking, Mikasa's quietness and, of couse, Levi's bitching. You were almost as good as Mikasa, and were hardly ever late to training, but nonetheless, Levi would often sentence you to cleaning duty for the dumbest mistakes. You didn't actually really mind it, but the frequency got old quick. It was like he always had his eyes on you, waiting to ridicule you for every move. It was like he especially hated you, so you were still puzzled as to why you had such a huge crush on him. Besides, he was the Corporal, for gods sake!

Tired and hungry from the long day, you were glad to finally sit down and eat, the aroma of soup and warm bread filling your nose. You looked around at the room full of cadets, and saw an open spot beside Mikasa. You about to sit down with your food beside her when a certain potato girl started yelling and waiving you over to sit with her on the other side of the table. You knew she was just hoping to steal some food, and were about to protest when Jean started speaking, rather loudly.

"Yeah Mop-chan, why don't you sit over here with me and Sasha for once? Unless you're afraid she'll touch your food and get it dirty."

You rolled your eyes at your unfortunate nickname and sat down to Sasha's left, eyeing her thieving hands carefully.

"Shut up Horseface, I just don't want her to steal my food, I know you don't worry about her stealing yours because you've got plenty of hay in the stables." Mostly true, you thought to yourself, taking a bite of bread.

Mikasa grinned a bit, and Eren sent a smug look Jean's way. Armin chuckled softly to himself. But it was true. You hated people touching your things or food, your room was freaking spotless, and you even would hang around the mess hall to clean the tables after everyone was gone, to ensure it'd be clean when you ate the next day. Whatever Levi made you clean, it would be sparkling afterward. Hell, even the horses' fur would shine after you were put on stable duty. You were just as much a germophobe as the Corporal, who, unbeknownst to you, was very approving of the Ocd tendencies you shared with him.

Jean scoffed and narrowed his eyes, muttering something, and Sasha was too focused on her food to care.

Dinner progessed fine afterward, you managing to ward off Sasha's grabby hands, and no one bothered you, everyone just exchanging conversation about the day, and Eren and Jean sending each other dirty looks. Almost everyone was gone now, except, of course, Levi and Hanji, who seemed to be discussing something about paperwork and titans.

You started wiping the table, sneaking looks at a very bored looking Levi. He had his elbow on the table, propping his head up with his hand, his raven locks sneaking through his fingers, cold blue eyes reflecting the light from the window, only half listening. Hanji was standing by the table he was at, running her mouth nonstop.

Damn, even when he's annoyed he's so attractive... and the way his hair's falling on his face is so se- OOOHH SHIT!!

You abruptly snapped out of your trance when he looked your way, eyes meeting with yours. Your face reddened and you looked down at the table and began wiping the last area, trying to look natural. I hope he didn't notice me staring, dammit (Y/n), gotta stop drooling over him... You thought to yourself. You didn't even notice Hanji had stopped talking.

"Oi, Cadet (L/n)," Levi started in that annoyed, yet smooth voice of his. Oh shit.

"Why the hell are you still here, all the other cadets are gone, and I didn't put you on cleaning duty here, so what the fuck are you doing?"

"Well, Heichou, well, I, uhh," You stuttered, face somewhat dusted with an embarrassed pink, awkwardly trying to think of what to say while sending a quick salute.

"Well?"

"I, uhh, like to clean the tables afterward sir.."

"...."

"I don't want to sit and have my food where I know it's gross..."

He raised a brow, seeming a bit amused for once, though his tone remained the same. "Tch. Shitty cadet..." His attention turned back to Hanji. She resumed talking again, except this time joking. "No matter the other cadets call you Mop-chan, (Y/n)!"

"Hanji-san, I'm not a Mop-"

She cut you off laughing at your slightly bewildered and embarrassed face.

Seriously? Now Hanji-san is gonna call me that?! She must've overheard Jean. Great.

"You and shorty would be a great couple! You could clean all day and-"

"Oi! That's enough Shitty glasses, please shut the hell up and go finish the paperwork..." Levi annoyedly muttered, getting up to leave. You could've sworn you saw a faint blush on Corporal sexy- er, Corporal Levi's annoyed face as he got up and left.

She seriously just went there?! You silently thought to yourself, mouth slightly agape and face red from what just happened.

"Whatever shorty~ " Hanji said happily as she left.

"Well, that was awkward..." You sighed to yourself. You threw away the wipe and turned to leave, thinking of whether Levi was really blushing.

Levi had stopped at the doorway, and as you made your way out your face flushed completely when you came face to face with the rather short man, attempting a salute again.

"Oh! Uh, Sorry Heichou, I didn't know you were the-"

"My office, 6:00 am sharp tomorrow, got it cadet (L/n)?" He turned and left.

"Yes sir..." You sighed as he left.

Oh boy, I guess more cleaning duty. Just for CLEANING tables when the others were gone no less! Wow....

You stood at the door to Levi's office, dark circles under your tired eyes. Bright and early, the sunrise was just peeking through the window and illuminating the side of your uniform.

5:58... Two more minutes, ugh...

You knocked on his door shortly after, getting the usual "Name and Business." reply.

"Cadet (L/n), You wanted me to meet you here, Heichou"

"Come in."

You opened the door, and awkwardly waited for him to talk, as he didn't look up from the paperwork he was doing.

"Sit down."

You did so.

"..."

"So... why did you want me here, heichou?" You said, expecting some sort of punishment.

"There's an expedition coming up, as you know,"

You nodded, wondering what he was getting to.

"And tonight you are going to help me clean the building we will be using as base. Bring your 3DMG just in case. It's fucking nasty, so be sure to you don't ruin your clothes. 8:00 pm."

Well at least I'll be able to get outta cleaning here. Sure hope he isn't planning on bringing that bastard Jean along though, I don't mind the others... I just don't wanna get called a mop the whole damn time...

"Who else is coming? If it's alright to ask, sir." You shifted a bit in the chair, a bit nervous around Levi.

"No one." You flushed at the thought of you two being alone.

"Oh."

What the hell? This is odd... usually he makes several of us clean at once...

Huehuehue this is gonna be like a date-

You mentally slapped yourself.

"I meant what the hell I said, though, do not fucking get your uniform dirty..." He said, getting up from his chair.

He grabbed some bottle from under the desk, shoving it in your hands. Windex, of course.

What happened next, floored you.

He squatted down to your face level, placing his palm on top of your head, fingers roughly gliding through your hair, getting a little too close for comfort.

"....Nor that pretty face of yours..." He whispered, his face mere inches from yours, his raven locks tickling your forehead. His steel blue eyes seemed to soften for just an instant, as your face flushed red as a bottle of Wisk Washing Powder.

"H-huh?" You stuttered, this time you knew your senses must be lying.

"I said you were dismissed, shitty cadet.."

And with that, he stood and walked out, his palm sliding off your head as he left. This was going to be an interesting night....
