Hometown- Orange Island (Kanto)

Personality- Witty, Quiet, Humble, Broody, Blunt, and Loyal.

Witty: Once you get to know Akamu he’s a smart guy, has a clever remark or interesting bit of prose to share. He likes puns a lot and enjoys word play greatly. It shows in his writings.

Quiet: He doesn’t often speak, which can lead some to believe he’s distant or cold. Akamu just doesn’t feel the need to talk unless he has something to add or share with others. He’d much rather think on something before responding if given the chance.

Broody: Akamu is a thinker and can sometimes overthink things. In fact, he can stew on things that happened hours, days, weeks, even years ago if left to his own devices for long enough. He’ll think himself into a corner and struggle to get himself out from under his own thoughts.

Blunt: This Breloom struggles with delivery. Even with people he knows he can be far too honest. He doesn’t always mean to be harsh, he just isn’t a fan of sugar-coating things. For others he can lessen the blow a bit. Though at the end of the day he’ll give a straight answer.

Loyal: He’s an odd quiet duck that’s for sure, but for those that make it through his nature and see the pokemon underneath it all…he’s got your back. Akamu will be his friends biggest supporter and rock in times of hardship and joy.

History-
Akamu grew up on the small close-knit community of the Orange Islands, everyone knows everyone and everything about each other (for better or for worse). Despite being a quiet kid, when he wasn't curled up with a book somewhere the youngster was out exploring his island home. Akamu often came home dirty and did a fair amount of exploring. He had trouble connecting till Kamala, his cousin, came exploring with him. The little Treecko putting a new spin on things he had seen many times and having so many creative ideas or stories based on her thoughts. Eventually he shared his own thoughts and rather than saying he was odd like so many others, she just listened intently and asked to hear more. They were thick as thieves for nearly all their lives, then THAT stage came.

The stage where some become flighty and want to see what's out there and leave to see the big wide world. Akamu thought for sure his cousin would leave in her teens, but when she stuck around and tried her hand at working the land and seas like her kin. Sure, she had gone out for a time to see other relatives, but she came back. Akamu figured she felt most at home here, even if he didn’t feel completely at home here. Kamala, however, eventually found what she was looking form away from the islands and left home. She sent letters which got the wheels in Akamu’s head turning. She found a prefect place with the ‘energy’ she sought. After a few letters this place sounded good to him.

Books, writing, and yoga were his only true passions when it came to life, but he just didn't know what to do with himself in the long run. Then he got a postcard from his cousin who offered him part time work at her job, a place to crash, and hopefully (in his mind at least) a chance to find himself.

Favorite food- Big fan of seafood and fresh fruit.

Favorite berry- Payapa

Catchphrase- “Yapa.”

Job: Yoga instructor (part time) and aspiring writer.

Accessories- Most of his clothes resemble rock type Pokémon

Ability- Poison Heal

Moveset- Mach Punch, Double Team, Mega Drain, Drain Punch

- Not too good with instruments, but has a good singing voice.

- Has a lot of random bits and pieces of knowledge given his great love of books.

- He has a better green thumb than his cousin Kamala, but is a terrible fisherman (Kamala has him beat in that).
