Scanned in from the bottoms of their character sheets, digitized, and detailed further, and coloured all funky, these are a pair of Rhulfolk soldiers who joined Garrison's Grenadiers during their siege on the Scharde Islands after Skooj got pwned and I couldn't play him for a session.

Direct from the Iron Kingdoms: Journeyman Galena Skarne and Hilde "The Hammer" Serric, Rhulic gunmage warcaster and bodger, respectively. What a duo.

Really, I wanted to play a dwarf with pigtails and a big hat, and she ended up as Galena here, who I had a hoot playing for all of one session. She's got a heavy Irish-type accent that is fun to speak in, and talked to everyone like they were younger than her, even though she was pretty young as far as Rhulfolk go. Her reaction to meeting Ascendant Markus (long story) was pretty funny, in that she sort of just said something like, "I'm a fan of yer work. Um, pleasure to meet you?" And was all awkward because the Grenadiers were all Morrowans around her, and she and Hilde were decidedly not.

Galena's gun is named "Odom's Holler". XD

Onto the actual image, I was very proud of my teeny weeny little doodle design of Galena's armour, and still am, though it was hard to transfer all of the details to a digital medium. I think it came out okay. I love her hat. XD Though, I have to say, the original drawing and this version are both very lacking in their dwarfishness. I suppose it's a hazard of this style of drawing, characters end up scrawny and leggy, and I need to work on that. They should be much squatter and wider, but I couldn't really accomplish that without having to redraw the entire thing. Something I'm too lazy to do for what was originally a scrap drawing.

tl;dr: I know they should be stubbier. I'm sorry.

Also: I know the shoulder spikes aren't very Rhul-type, and are more Scharde-type, but I thought they looked cool.
