And so I watched the flames grow higher, taking the paper trash and turning it to ashes. I listened to my father as he told me more about the fire God Bracillo, who I believed came from the lighter to eat. My father told me he was a god, and that he was to be worshiped and feared. He was Bracillo, He was FIRE. This god would eat his followers if he were to be handled incorrectly, being but a child I thought I knew how to handle this great god... being but a teenager now I found out how wrong I was. He showed me his true power, and his great annoyance at the way my life had been going, at the people I held around me. He showed me his might and almost took me to his world as his fire lept from the single paper I was burning. The wax that had been poured to try to put the fire out began to catch on fire, and I knew that I had done wrong, and that I was in trouble. This was not right, I felt true fear as I poured water on this fire, and it jumped up to the ceiling, up around my arms, it licked my face before going out, and yet I was not burned. I felt true fear, and I knew that I had done wrong. Perhaps you should respect the god to which you give your faith, and defend him against the wrongs that others say they have. For any god that is not treated the right way, can always come back and teach you shame.
