Description My very first (and possibly last) base! Man, this thing took FOREVER! I drew the original image yesterday, then took a picture of it with my webcam and drew the hard lineart today. Took about 5 or 6 hours.

Comments are welcomed, but here are some rules about using this base:

1: No need to ask, just use it.
2: Give credit to me when you use it; I don't require that you leave my signature on the image, but when you use the base, give me credit for the base and provide a link back to my profile.
3: Claim this as your own and you will suffer the consequences. I do NOT tolerate ANY form of art theft.
4: Frankendolling is prohibited. Do not use parts of this base to make dolls on another base, or vice versa.
5: Edits are allowed. Feel free to add wings/horns/clothes/accessories/markings/whatever to make your dolls.
6: I'd love to see what you do with this; feel free to send me links to your finished products!

And that's about it. I hope people enjoy using this, 'cuz I worked my butt off on it. x__x

The process I actually used was me drawing the picture on a sheet of paper, then I took a picture of the drawing using my webcam (any camera will work, though). I then took the drawing into MS Paint, and I used the curved line tool (and my mouse) to make precise lineart for it. Then, I used GIMP to delete the background until I just had the black lineart you see in the image.

It's a long, tedious process, but it's a lot easier for me than pulling out my 9" x 12" Wacom tablet and finding a place to put it while still being able to use my laptop. Oh, and figuring out how to use said tablet...I still can't figure the darn thing out. XD;; Though, that's not saying much because I've only used it a total of 3 times since I got it (which was like...5-6 years ago). XD;;

Hope that helps! ^^

lol yeah i just finished one that i started about 5 minutes after i posted the last post, and, after fiddling around with some colors in GIMP, the program started being all wonky and not giving me the color i wanted, so i deleted the color, and i'm about to post the lineart ) i just used my computer's webcam and GIMP and the touchpad on my laptop, so the lines are slightly wobbly, but it looks ok lol if u want to check it out, it'll be on my page in just a minute lol

Bases should go to the Base category.

Even if it was an original idea by the creator? That makes absolutely no sense to me.

The Original Base category is for DOLLS made on bases. The Base category is where bases go, and Traced Bases are there for, well, traced bases.

Thanks! ^^ It was a lot of work to make it, more than I'm used to putting into a piece of art. XD
