Now I don't believe men are born to be killers
I don't believe that this world can't be saved
How did you get here and when did it start
An innocent child with a thorn in his heart (x )

A tribute to one of my favorite books I read this year, Prince of Thorns by Mark Lawrence. It's a dark fantasy novel where the main character, Jorg Ancrath is the Prince of Thorns, a charming, immoral boy leading a grim band of outlaws in a series of raids and atrocities. Despite being so gritty and brutal at times, I really enjoyed Jorg's narrative (his comebacks and quotes are genuinely hilarious)! As the writer was also inspired by Game of Thrones, I think the fans of the series will enjoy this one as well~
Anyway I've had this idea of stained-glass looking picture, ever since I read the book and an ACEO card had the perfect size to prevent me from going overboard with details XD This time I also tried coloring before inking the lines, but I'm not sure I'll try it again soon (it looked so weird and I haven't practised much with watercolors sadly... )
Hope you like it!
