Aura Day is here again. I'm totally cheating this year by using this old picture I made a few months back, because I've been too busy to make a proper celebratory artwork. It's actually just a practice picture I did to test out a new brush I made at that time. And yes, this is based off the Lucario in my fanfiction.I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately. I have a lot of messages in my inbox, so it may take a while to get back to everyone.
ExplanationThe name (Hadou no Hi) comes from the date in Japanese (８月１０日). 8 represents "Ha" while 10 signifies "Dou", and hence on this day every year, people celebrate by posting Lucario/Riolu fanart.

So this is Lucario from your fan-fiction? He looks so content, like he's thinking about life or something.
I really like the way you drew his eyes, they are very nicely shaded. The background looks very good as well, the colours go well with Lucario.
This was for Aura Day? I'll have to make something for it next year. Speaking of which, Happy Aura Day! (I guess that is a little late, but oh well )

Wow, this is really good! I love the eyes and the scarf.
Nothing wrong with using older drawings. I made mine a few weeks ago, and it was pretty much a redrawing of an older picture, which in turn was drawn with a completely different picture used as a reference.
