Description
First submission of 2012, I think.Unfortunately, the manzai birds were removed from the English version of Rhythm Heaven Fever. And I was looking forward to it too...
Nonetheless, it's still an amazing game which I highly recommend.
In other news, the worst of the semester is over, but there are a couple more things I have to take care of first before I'll be free.
ハイ!ハイ!

Honestly I’d get the Japanese import just for the sake of this bonus minigame

In this picture, they're saying "The futon's blown away!" while the little guy goes "Yes, yes!"
In Japanese it's "Futon ga futtonda!", which is where the wordplay comes in. The stage is full of wordplay and puns, which is probably why they never translated it for the English release.

Heh, good to see new things from you, as always.
Like how they've spotlights on them, it really adds to the idea that this is a performance XD

Cheers! It's been a while since I last uploaded something. That's bound to change in the coming month or so.
I must say though I've taken quite a liking to drawing.
Hope to see more stuff from you too!

Yeah, once my exams are done, I'll have a long break.
My priority will be on getting Smile and IAL done.

Aww, I've never played that game before, but those are definitely cute, especially that little gray one there.
I'm not sure what the vulture is saying... but I can tell he's emphasizing something... since he said "ga" instead of "wa." The little guy's saying "yes, yes." I know that at least. XD
And the last line in your description... I looked it up, and the first word that came up was "intoxication." But yes, upon careful inspection, I see it's something to do with "exhilaration."

If you get the chance, do give it a try. ^^
It's just been released recently, so some stores might have it as a demo. It's easy enough to complete, but very hard to master.
A lot of people still have trouble with "wa" and "ga" even after years of studying -- me included.
He's saying that "the futon's blown away", but in Japanese, it would be "futon ga futtonda". Hence, the whole stage is filled with puns based on similar-sounding words. That's probably why they didn't translate it to English. x_x
Instead, the stage was replaced by a jump-rope type minigame, which was already in an older game.
Ah? Ah, I see...
I actually meant for it to be "yes, yes" as well, just in katakana form. It probably got translated to "high".

Oh really? I thought the difference between "ga" and "wa" only had to do with the level of emphasis, but maybe my profs were simplifying it a bit.
They say humor is one of the hardest things to translate...
Oh, I see now! I thought that line looked familiar, so that's why I tried to look it up. I think wordreference's Japanese section is quite new and therefore... lacking at the moment.
I think you're right... "hai" and "high"...
