I know there are probably not a huge amount of people that play the Advance Wars series of games for the Game Boy/DS system. I'm sure there's even fewer who played the most recent, Days of Ruin. A great game, I recommend it! That said, the damsel featured is the only real Strategist of the good guys, Lin. For every mission, if you need extra help, you go to the 'Training Room' where they give you tips and tactics to win. About 65% of these are Lin, 20% are Captain Brenner (Though he's only reading what Lin wrote down for him to say. Brenner is also higher rank than Lin.)That's explains the last panel, I hope. Next time I'll try a joke that doesn't need an explanation for 95% of the people who see it to understand.

I'm a little conflicted on this.
I generally like bondage pinups, because I can suspend disbelief and just like the picture. When it's used as an in-character joke though, it just seems weird and unbelievable that Lin would be captured at all. Certainly there are other things that Lin could be doing that would take her away from Will and Brenner?

There are definitely more plausible things, that much I can't argue with. The reason she's captured is simply because I'm quite a fan of bondage, and of the character Lin. It doesn't do her the proper justice she deserves, but I wanted to see it all the same, if you catch my drift

But yeah, I actually loved the Advance Wars series. Days of Ruin was more... Japanese with a lot more silly elements but I still liked it. Less silly, for sure, than the previous titles and their gung-ho commanders.

I never liked Lin <_< She just strikes me as annoying for some reason. I like Brenner better.

Too difficult to compare them, given how different the settings of the games are. I really like both, for entirely different reasons.

I love the Advance Wars series, especially the last game, a pure touch of realism eventually!
You should do some scenes with Isabella, maybe having a bath in the river... you remember the convo with Will, right?
Or about Isabella who pisses off Lin showing her badass superiority in strategy and such.

Yes indeed! It's a wonderful series that has taken, in my opinion, a turn for the better. I do hope they continue with it.

haha I dont know why I didnt see this sooner this is funny havent really played advanced wars so not sure who the charcters are but I can easily understand the comic still cause apperently the girl is very important to the mission and now everyone is screwed cause they need her thats a good idea love the looks on their faces almost like oh crap
