Description
Many people have made a personal mod of Microsoft's Zune theme, but I wasn't happy with all those visual styles, so I started to make my own. It's nothing special; I just changed some colors and made a new shellstyle which based upon my Vista shellstyle. I hope you enjoy it!Installation:
Just extract to C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes and double-click on "NewZune.msstyles". That's it!
UPDATE:
- Changed the color of the taskbar flash-button
- Changed some bitmaps in the shellstyle

I love these Zune visual styles, and this is the best one so far. But could you make it even better? Add some extra colors for the Start Meny -button. Grey, blue, orange ect..

I'm quite busy at the moment, but I see what I can do about it. But unfortunately, I won't be able to test the results because I'm using Vista now. I will come back to you if I got any progress.

Do you have the UXTheme Patch installed? If not, you can get it here: [link]
After you have installed this patch, you must reboot you laptop. After that, it should work.

I just saw the screenshot... the style do not works here... I use win xp64... they crash my theme service or something like, coz a needed to restart it...

As far as I know, the UXThemePatch does only work with x86 versions of Windows XP. You can try the patch nevertheless, but please make at first a backup of your system, 'cause it may crash it.

hm... there are a version of uxthemepatch for 64bit... ^^ it works okay.
some styles do not works with some systems... I don't know why... I've downloaded styles for my other machine, a 32bit xp, and the style do not works with xp sp2...

This one also works with 64-bit versions of Windows. Maybe, this can help you. I don't know why my theme is not running on your machine because I also have got Windows XP SP2.

I really love this visual style, but I dont know how to install it!
I extract it directly to C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes, but when i doubleclick on the NewZune icon, nothing happens!

It seems that you don't have the UXTheme Patch. You need to install this patch in order to use third-party [non-Microsoft] visual styles. You can get the patch here: [link]
