Its a little bit late, but this is for my sister's birthday which was on the 28th...I had hoped to have it finished and mailed to her by her birthday but I started too late. Luckily she's very understanding...
She likes foxes, and she likes mockingbirds, so I made sure to include both here. (Though I'm afraid the character looks more like a wolf than a fox...something to work on.)
In a small clearing within an aspen forest, a female Alcarin sits and enjoys the singing of a feathered companion. She is still young and hasn't attained her full adult plumage. Though her wings have begun to take on the markings of a mockingbird, she has yet to shed her rust colored fur to make way for the slate grey of the mockingbird. She wears autumn toned clothing and jewelery, reflecting the changing colors of the forest in Autumn. You might even say mocking them.
Prints will be available in limited quantity, and the original goes to my sister. Size is 11" x 14".
