So, yeah, it's still the same Storm dragon...just with different shading and *gasp* a background! Granted, it's a lame background - that's the reason why I did it. I thought to myself, "gee... this would look better if you could actually see that the storm, here, was underwater... I'll bet I could do underwater in PS...."And thus was the lame background born.
But hey, I can feel better about myself, now, because there's a background. w00t.

I forgot to mention in my first comment that this piece has made me think more about how dragons would position their limbs during flight. After all, flying is sorta like swimming through air, right? So I wouldn't be surprised if they held their limbs the same way you have this dragon holding them. Like an otter. (Did you use an otter as a reference for this one? It reminds me a bit of otters.)

Yeah, I ended up thinking a lot about that, too... Especially with the hindlimbs and trying to figure out how flexible they should be and all that.

Dapples fun. So much fun. And actually started out as a bit of an accident.... then I looked at some whale pictures and went, "Spiffy-cool!" And went back to dappling. Glad you like.

Thankee! I was pretty worried about them for a while, actually.... They kept alternating between fun and "oh god, I'll just shoot myself in the foot now and get it over with..."
I've still got some issues with them, but for the moment, they're the best I can do, and I'll be happy with that. ^-^
