Yep...the fun thing was that we biked into an empty area hundreds of yards from any art installations to take the photo, and when Dee laid down to get chained up, within 60 seconds three different people rode at top speed to make sure she wasn't suffering from heat exposure.

When we explained we were doing a photo shoot, two people said, "Okay", and the this guy stayed and asked if he could take pictures.

So you know that burners really do look out for each other.

Great story, thanks for sharing it ! I had assumed a tripod and you in the pic - but your tale adds some spice to the picture making even more fun.

Yes, it IS a great story!

I would have been tempted to be mischievous.  If it were my girl staked out like that, and a guy asked if he could take some pictures, I would have said, "Sure, if you don't mind helping me out with something.  I have to run an errand.  Do you mind watching her while I'm gone, to be sure she doesn't get away?  I won't be gone for more than an hour."

Of course, I'd only be kidding, but that won't stop her from screaming at me, and saying the safe word.  I think.
