Hmm. This looks really dark on this computer. It looked a lot lighter on my other laptop...gah.Commission for
Her knote, Whimsique.
Such pretty flowing fur, so fun to paint.
Very difficult to get a good shot of this one, both scanner and camera did funny things. There is thread stitching over the eyes like requested, and I used some silvery iridescent paint in a few spots, like the buckle, eyes, horns and splatters in the background.

Yay!! This was so fun to wake up to!! Oh my gosh it looks so gorgeous! I was so excited when I noticed you drew him from that angle because it is kind of a brave one to attempt with such a long face.
His expression is so weird and haunting too which is perfect! The eyes look amazing too and I adore the effect the stitching gives, it is totally wicked and I am so glad I chose for you to draw him with them! I love how you can see that his long neck is so twisted and contorted because I think that is definitely one of his trademarks even though all Knotes are long necked, it stands out with him especially.
I really like how you did the buckle on his neck too and the way it is buried partially in fur looks very realistic. I really like the background too, it looks so painterly and gorgeous and I definitely love the shiny effect.

I love his long flexible neck so I knew that I had to include it. Besides, if I didn't then I'd be missing out on all that delicious long fur to paint!
