A housewarming gift for my cousin and her fiance. This is almost a personal piece, its really close to my heart although it is a gift. Funny how things are.
Some work still needs to be done on it, finishing details, so I'll be working on it for a few more days. Depending on how much it changes, I might update but chances are I will not.
This is the largest I've ever worked with pencil crayons, it was probably a little over 13 x 10 inches. Took almost my whole weekend to complete as well.

A sad story indeed, but art drawn for someone else always seems to turn out better than you'd expect. <3
This is just so realistic, I'm amazed that anyone can do this with pencil crayons. The texture of the fur is fantastic, so soft, but with that classic 'sheen' to it.
The eyes just bring it to life though. Wow. <3~

This is an amazing piece. It looks so incredibly real. I love the fur, every strand is perfectly laid out on that sleek black head. The sheen on the coat is also amazing and so realistic. I find black fur is hard to make shine right. I love how the texture of his fur changes realistically on his neck too. I love the tones of blue you gave his coat as well. His nose looks amazingly real, what beautiful textures it has and such a pleasant wetness. I also like his chocolate caramel eyes, such a perfect expression. I bet they will adore this gift and I bet Kaizer appreciates it from wherever he is now too.
