Iiiiits 2 o'clock in the morning and I've been working on art since, ohhh about 5 PM. I blame my procrastination skills. Wonderful things. Dumbasses.I had two pieces to do in one night, along with write-ups for each. And I had to email them to my teacher tonight. Hence the 5 till 2 work period. I'm sleepy now.
And rambling.
So basically a painting of a Canadian Goose on the feather of a Canadian Goose. There, the end.
I'm going to regret uploading this horrible quality photo of this thing, I know it. I gotta get a knew one tomorrow.

I've always wanted a feather painting. :U But I'm far too lazy and untalented to make my own.

That's a cool concept! I love how it looks, and how the wingspan of the goose is almost as wide as the feather. Of course, the painting itself is awesome. <3 Great job~

Oh my gosh this is so amazing! That goose could be a photo and to achieve such quality in painting on a feather that it looks like a photo deserves many props and candy to you. I love the feather detail in the wings, excellent work. The face looks great, I just love the eye with that shine in it. The overall anatomy is really wonderful as well. Birds are quite amusingly shaped when you really look at them, they are made of such simple angles in some ways yet they have a kind of complex grace. I think you captured this very well.

Feather painting is difficult, especially when you first start, but the result is quite rewarding.
