Hello everybody! Lycan here again, today I have something really interesting to show you!

So, this is my entry for CyprusDraegon 's design contest. I have been following Cyprus for a while now, her art is truly amazing and so cute. She held another design contest prior to this one and it got a ton of truly amazing entries. Unfortunately, I couldn’t participate in that design contest because I didn’t have an account, so, yeah, but anyways, I really wanted to participate in this design contest so here we are now. For this design contest, the theme was 'blue jay' and the goal was to design a Wings of Fire dragon according to the theme. Jays are my favorite birds and blue is my favorite color, so this challenge was such a blast to take part in! So here we have the result, Azulona, an IceWing with some RainWing features mixed in! She loves birds, jokes and gossips, and works as a messenger in Sanctuary.

Here’s a bit of info about this character:
Name: Azulona
Gender: Female
Tribe: IceWing, with slight RainWing heritage (That’s the reason behind the bright colors, patterns, textures, body shape, and lack of IceWing spikes)
Personality/Backstory: A cunning, gossipmonger, raucous, mischievous, extrovert, sometimes haughty and highly adventurous IceWing messenger. She is truly swift on air and has a beautiful voice, she loves singing and birdwatching, but something that she also loves is a good joke and will take advantage of any opportunity to prank whatever unfortunate dragon walks into her. She will also take any opportunity to rummage through the mail she is supposed to send and peek into other dragons' lives, which leads to a lot of gossips and rumors (most of which are fake and made up due the lack of context of the letters), she was kicked out of the Ice Kingdom due to her behavior, so now she works as a messenger in Sanctuary, and acts the exact same way, and going on birdwatching expeditions once in while, being as mischievous as ever.
Abilities: Cold resistance, weak ice breath (that’s more of a short-distance breeze than a long-distance blast), and mimic bird calls.

So that's it for this design entry! I'm truly proud of this design, I'm no professional character designer by any means so, yeah, anyways, I find this to be a quite nice design, not the best, but I had a blast designing her, so that's all that matters.
There are surely going to be some truly awesome designs for this contest, and I can't wait to see them all!
