For LotusLostInParis 's collab!Draw Ivypool with me!Guys if we can get twenty people to participate this time around, then this'll be our biggest collab yet!!!
hey guys! so for this week's addition to the AWCC (All Warrior Cats Challenge), we will be drawing Ivypool!
If you are unfamiliar with the challenge, all you have to do is draw the selected warrior cat of the week before the deadline and send the png file to me! (It has to be a full-body drawing, with a TRANSPARENT BACKGROUND, and with your signature surrounding the cat) Then i will compile all the drawings together and post it the day after the deadline! The file will be available for all those who joined so that they can post the finished piece on their profiles as well! This is a weekly event so don't worry if you can't make it 'cause there will always be next week!
So if you want to participate, the deadline for this week is SUNDAY August 20th
I'm glad I finally got the time to draw her, Ivypool has always been my favourite Warriors character ! I'm really proud of the result <3

**keep in mind i'm NOT an experienced critic!
this is a pretty good reference! there are a few things that bug me, though. first, (and this one is probably just me,) i think the head might be a bit smoother if you erased the lines between the ears and the rest of ivypool's face, as well as erasing or softening the line between her face and the little ruffly "hair" on the top of her head and the sides of her face. which is a nice touch, by the way. the next thing for me is that her chin seems to be jutting a bit (which i guess makes sense, since she's angry.) this is probably something that only bothers me.
this next statement you may be able to predict based on one of the ratings: originality. unfortunately, this isn't too original, (originality might have not been the point, i guess,) because there is so much warriors art on the internet. however, references are something i don't see too often, so this gets three stars for originality.
otherwise, i think the shading is on point, the colors are correct and go well together, and the technique you used for her fur is great. posting an unshaded version as well was a nice touch.
overall, i think this piece was pretty great!
