Description
"The name's Jack. It's a pleasure."Like I said before, this is one of my oldest characters in the making, and only recently have I decided on a base design for him I enjoy.
This character is based on the folklore of Stingy Jack, so I can't take all the credit for this design, but I want to make my own version of him.
So let's get to the bio shall we.
Name: Jack Jackson
Aliases: Stingy Jack, Jack Frost, Jack of Hearts, Jackpot, Jack Rabbit, Jack in a Box, Jack-O-Lantern, etc.
Age: Unknown (estimated about 200 or more years.)
Species: formerly human, current status unclear (He prefers just being called Jack.)
Height: 6 ft, .16 in
Weight: 95 lbs.
Family: former family unknown. (deceased)
currently: Enilef (abdominal ethereal creation, daughter.) m-a-c-d.deviantart.com/art/30-…
Bio:
Once a lowly human, Jack Jackson was grade A example of despicable soul. A drunk, swindler, womanizer, manipulator, and general jackass. (A term he takes as a compliment.) It did not take long for such a vile soul to catch the attention of the Devil himself. Lucifer came to Jack one day and claimed his soul for his own, and that he would drag Jack to Hell, but Jack, being the sly talker he is, convinced, the devil to buy him one last drink before departed. With that, Jack suggested the Devil would pick up the tab by turning himself into a silver coin, but when he did, Jack took the coin and placed it next to a cross in his pocket, rendering the Devil powerless and unable to change back. Jack stated he would let him go if he barred from taking Jack's soul for 10 more years. The Devil had no other choice but to agree to this bargain.
Ten years later, Satan returns once more to claim Jack soul, but like before, Jack insisted on one final request, to have an apple ripe from a tree. The Devil then took the form of a snake to retrieve it, but by the time he reached the apple, Jack had placed several crosses around the tree, trapping the fallen angel once more. This time Jack demanded to never have his soul taken to Hell in exchange for the Devil's freedom, which again, he reluctantly agreed too.
Jack seem to have been the one with the last laugh, but this laugh would not last. Like any of us, Jack would eventually meet his demise and transcend his mortal coils. Unfortunately, God refused him entrance into Heaven due to his horrible nature and sins he has committed as a human. Left with only one option, Jack is force to go towards the gates of Hell, but Satan said he would stay true to his word and would never take Jack's soul. What he did do for jack was grant him a Lantern crafted from a turnip from the Garden of Eden, and light by flame of hellfire, which Jack would use to light his way through the darkness, as he is doomed to walk the Earth through it's shadows for all eternity...
What happens after that? Well all the years he spent alone in the darkness would drive him to utter insanity, and shattering his psyche to several parts. Jack was at the end of his wit, but one day when he passed by some unfortunate souls who have just died, his insanity drove his lantern to suck in the freshly dead souls into the flames, and fuel the fire even brighter. Not only that, but Jack could feel a surge of power from the lantern, resonating onto him as well. His lantern had the power to steal souls and grant him power of his own. With a wicked grin, Jack continued on this unholy soul harvest until such a time he had gained the power of omnipresence. At this point Jack had restored what little sanity remained, and set his sights clear. As God would control Heaven and the Devil would do so with Hell, Jack would not stop until he made Earth his realm, and garner all of it's souls for himself, so that he may exact his revenge on the so called "deities" that wronged him...

Well the plot doesn't really revolve around the legend, but the main antagonist seems to be Stingy.
