This turned out really great. I like that you did different illustrations when different states had the same species. So many Meadowlarks.
It also makes me laugh that Utah's state bird is the California Gull.

Thanks! There really were a lot of meadowlarks. And Mockingbirds. And Cardinals. Luckily, the female cardinal looks so much more different than the male that it isn't too redundant (I don't think...anyway).
Utah's was a surprise...legend has it the gulls saved their crops from a cricket infestation, so they made it the state bird honorarily.

Typical. The Californians are always having to bail out those people from Utah. haha. (I have no idea if that is typical or not).
And I do think that the female cardinal is different enough to keep things interesting.

Yeah, I bet it was. Did you select the birds digitally and then paste them all onto the same background?
