Description
Three warblers- yellow (S. petechia), blackburnian (S. fusca), and cerulean (S. cerulea) for a private commissioner. The originals are separate 5x7" pieces.

Firstly, thank you!
Second, I feel you! I had to do pages...and pages...and pages of warbler scribbles before I could get any of them to look 'right'. They're such a deceptively simple shape, and so few of them have markings zany enough to mask mistakes if you get 'em wrong.Β I found J L Hirten's work to be a good source of inspiration, as she's so good with laying out flat, accurate shapes!Β 1 2

BUUURDS
You make me miss drawing birds, I should do it more! X) Lately I only sneak pigeons in my illustrations. Though I did draw an eagle a couple of months ago, but it was for a connect-the-dots sort of picture so it doesn't count.
