In this fan art interpretation of this "classic" mecha anime, I focused on making the robot look more dynamic by positioning the camera at a low angle. I tried picturing a triangle when drawing to help the subjects fall naturally into perspective vertically and to emphasize the robots size. Drawing the pilot in front of the robot sets-up a height contrast allowing me to emphasize the robots "immenseness".
