Sometimes I like to do plein air studies from memory of something I observe during my day. Sometimes it's after sitting in front of something for an hour, sometimes it's a flash of an instant that burns itself into my mind and compels me to paint.I believe an artist's only 'job' is to capture moments whether real or imagined or more abstract and translate that moment for others to enjoy.
