Hey man, thanks a lot! Yeah I am on CA (same username) but mostly just participate in the EoW sporadically when there is a nice topic. I "hang out" more and have a sketchbook on crimson daggers. crimsondaggers.com/forum/threa⦠I mostly update facebook, dA and the cd sketchbook.
I find it tedious trying to update more than one sketchbook consistently but I have been thinking of starting one up on ca as well.

Yeah, there's at least one other place I hang out other than CA and you're right, having sketchbooks at more than one place would be really tedious.

Great painting. Nice atmosphere. The greenish-blueish tint gives the impression all is not well. Viewing from behind the bushes makes me feel like I'm witnessing something I shouldnt and the figure could turn around and see me at any moment. Very good.

Nice painting man, I love your use of colours and now you're pushing it further than ever before. I love the fact that the skin colour of the statue compliments the guy and it looks almost like you have some sub surface scattering going on in the statue. Very realistic lighting and great use of silhouette. Sorry, was too busy drooling over the concept to think about any criticism. Looks almost like a screenshot from a game.Β

Lol, Yeah I wasn't sure about those statue arm things. I had a different stronger silhouette but changed it last minute, I was thinking of going back to the old, but not sure now. Anyways...no point dwelling too much on it.thanks for the comment though
