Update: Oh my god.. so many comments! Such wonderful comments, and so many +favs.
I really appreciate all this wonderful feedback. It's the first time one of my deviations gets more than ~14 comments, and the very first time I'm in the daily top favs.
Thanks again for all your comments. I really appreciate it.
*Another update*: I usually thank people for +fav'ing my work, but I have gotten so many +favs on this deviation every week that I have stopped bothering as it has turned to a tedious task. So having said this, if you have (or are about to) +fav this piece, or any of the others in this "Small Big World" series, THANK YOU.

I love it, it makes me smile everytime I look at it, for which I feel really thankful. respect for that!

GAH! It's so adorable! You found a very curious snail. Usually they hide in that little shell of theirs.

But, wait a minute... Snail used to quickly hide in their shell if it's being touched, right? So why did this one try to reach the finger instead of hiding? that's odd...

This is cute, kinda makes me think of a cartoon. Not any cartoon in particular, but it's cartoonish.

Really cool photograph, what camera did you use?

Possibly one of the first couple digital cameras created. It was one of the first Sony Mavica models.
It was bought when digital photography was a mindblowing revolutionary concept. It took pictures at 1028x768 and wrote to floppies. (Yes, the camera had its own FLOPPY drive. These days I can shove in a memorystick in my current camera and have ~4,000 times the amount of I could store then.)
I must say though.. despite the grain the pictures had, and the (now) shitty resolution (although amazing at the time), the lenses were remarkable and took great pictures nonetheless.
The camera still works to this day. (My parents have it.) However, nowadays I use a Sony Cybershot F828, which shoots at 8mpix.

Go to a garden/backyard at night, shortly after rainy day.
They love to come out all over the place.
