NOTES

The combined form of the three drones of the Metroplex citybot, Boomdox is more than the sum of the part.
The three drones (Scamper, Slammer and Six-Guns) are mostly a reflection of different aspects of Metroplex' personality, as Metroplex' mind-field is so strong that it radiates from his Laser Core to anyone inhabiting his body, resonating in their Metaprocessor.
Living mechanoids such as his Autobot allies are not affected by this field, as they can counter it with their own field, but lifeless drones such as Scamper and friends can't avoid to be imbued and directed by that radiation.
And yet, when the three merge into Boomdox, something changes: the influence of Metroplex's personality receedes and Boomdox becomes an assertive, almost authoritative mech who can make his own decisions.
Blaster and Kup use to say that he acts almost as if he had a Laser Core of his own.
Boomdox acts as Metroplex's spokeperson, as the most natural and logical choice for that role. Even though their opinions can sometimes diverge, Metroplex has always drastically rejected any attempt at tasking another Autobot with the same duty.

Appartenly, Boomdox can operate even without being supported by Metroplex' signal, as he doesn't share the weakness that forces the three drones to remain close to Metroplex to stay active.

Wheelie and Flash are knon to make fun of him calling him "Doombox".

Boomdox can shoot mortar shells from both Slammer's cannons; he can also deploy Six-Guns' ion pistols.
