Nice observation Luca!! Yeah it could be interpreted as an image based on The Divine Comedy, I didnt have that in mind when I made this but it fits nicely, Cheers Luca!!

Wow... the instant I saw this it had a very deep ancestral / tribal "pull" on me.... I related to the scene as though from a past life experience, really. I have some 28 Kings in my ancestry, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, etcetera... so maybe there's something to that, I dunno.... amazing image regardless. Bravo!

Its good to hear that my work can have such an affect on someone, Glad you like it, and to have an ancestry like that, it must have a great influence on your work? Think most of my ancestors were peasants revolting, or revolting peasants, one of the two lol, Im from Scotland and did some airbrushed mural work of William Wallace for a Theme park in Ayrshire a few years ago, sadly the park is now closed but I managed to get a few snaps of the mural work. Thanks again and glad you like the pic, cheers

Ahh... Sir William! Now there's a Scotsman indeed! As for the revolting peasants, I have no doubt at all that my ancestor kings were "revolting kings" as well! Apparently they always gave the English Crown hell, until Cromwell came and slaughtered over 1,700 of the O'Dwyer Clan in one Campaign, burning their 8 Castles to the ground and pulling women and children out of the churches to behead them all in the streets. I wouldn't be surprised at all if my Clan was among the Irish conscripted against Wallace who met him with embraces in mid battlefield, at least by the time of Cromwell the English Crown had clearly had enough of us! Hahaha!

Cheers!

Aye, the English were a bad lot then, 1,700 killed in a single campaign?, Your clan did well to recover from losses like that. Id loved to have seen the faces of the English when the Scots and Irish shook hands on the battle field Ha, The Theme park I spoke of was called Loudoun Castle Theme Park in Galston Ayrshire, It was built around the ruins and grounds of Loudoun Castle and the castle itself has links with Wallace and the Wallace clan, I was lucky enough to be employed as an artist for the park for five years doing various murals and backdrops, I think there are some photos in my scraps folder but if not Il upload some and you can have a look if you like

Yes it was a great job, pity the park closed or I could have been back there. Im enjoying the digital art though, its a lot tidier and I dont have to constantly clean airbrushes and sprayguns lol, I leave that job to my mate who restores and murals motorbikes. He has a 20 year old Kawasaki GPZ that he painted. The first paint job was a graphic style eagle but he came off the bike and the whole side got trashed, hes restored it since then and now it has a tiger mural with luminous paint so it glows in the dark, Some of the mural pics I spoke of are in the Scraps folder in my gallery, Im not sure if you are able to see them, if not let me know? Il upload a couple of my mates bike pics also, I think youl appreciate them being a biker yourself, Cheers

Thank you the pic itself doesn't have a story, Il leave that to yourself, but the river styx is steeped in mythology, heres a link [link] thanks again for the comments and for adding to your collection, cheers
