Portraying nature in a more...brutal way has always intrigued me, and indeed, this piece here striked my eye more firmly than most.
I also enjoy the feeling of the enviroment. I doubt you intended it, but, I feel that it seems rather harsh. I enjoy that effect on the picture.

I agree about the harshness. It's almost as though that shell was placed on the creature as a burden, or a punishment. It's certainly interesting, to say the very least. I love it.

that looks pretty cool. have you ever heard of Uzumaki by Junji Ito. That also has Snail people, but they look a bit different from yours. Yours looks more aggressive and able to attack. good job!

its amazing , but it would have been better if the finishing were smoother , or maybe like that its more creepy and cool

it feels like there's a heavy burden on his back! i feel like the shell can sybolize that...
his long hair may sybolize time and how this burden has been on his back for long...
the place that he's standing on maybe sybolizes the path of his life and how it is not smoothe to walk on and how cracked up it is and slippery because of the water...
well that's what i think at least
