The Sumatran tiger is a subspecies of tiger found on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. They are genetically isolated from all living mainland tigers.I was so happy to see him today, as many of the animals were kept indoors due to the cold weather. He glanced up at me long enough to capture his expression. My heart goes out to them.
