Description
Well here it is, my final entryTried hard to stick to the Minmitar style, building off of the T3 stylings to battlecruiser size
Also studied CCPs concept presentation, guess this is for modelling so should be a clean representation
Modelled in Max, plain grey model. Rendered then paintover in PS using various techniques ( aircraft part photos, textures and digital painting ). Time taken to properly trace over ortho views in PS usign varying line thicknesses

This is the winner to me. Brilliant concept, excellent execution. You prob would have won if you'd draped it in EVE imagery and given it visual context - that always sells.
Hell, the filled-in side view actually looks like a wave and it's aftermath. It may look too much like a praying mantis for CCP.... maybe. That's the only thing I can think of.
Tornado was good, but this was better as a concept.

This is a strangely attractive Minmitar style. It's attractive and clean, but at the same time, savage. You can really see it in the solar panel design that juts ahead of the ship. On the flipside, this baby looks brittle. The fore solar panels and arms look like they could break away if they were smashed by an asteroid, mass driver shot or even another ship.

I wish this ship had won, because I would have LOVED to fly this around in EVE. (even though I don't have a subscription.)

I can tell the Minmatar origins of the ship easily, even without a skinned/textured version. Nice design, I would have avoided T3 but its possible that this ship was used to model some T3 concepts.

an excellent design, great concept design, texture, and fits perfectly into the game. Its clear that you know what your doing and took some time to research it all.
in my opinion, this is one of the few that deserved to get into the top 15 and it should DEFFINETELY win 1st place.

Minmatar always get over looked it seems. Very well done on what is ont of the harder racial designs to do. Has a strong resemblance to the more recent matari ships such as Loki. Would be great to see it cruising about in eve.
