Description
This is Chachaman's character Nix from his series Arcana Obscura. I tried a little different technique here with the inking. It's probably not all that noticable, but to me it was like night and day, and I'll probably do more of it in the future.Related content

I love how she looks more annoyed than frightened. I don't think there will be any tentacle rape here. Except maybe her raping the tentacles.
The DETAILS you go into, i love it. the scratches and the rivets and zippers on her costume. i really love your work

Is the differnce in the inking that the lines are thinner?
This one looks great, the details are all amazing.

Yeah, that's basically it, hon. I'm used to using a thicker line thickness for my characters, as years of thinking it'd be only in black and white influenced that mendset. So I kind of "shifted" the sizes for all lines down by one size. Particularly on the face.

Where do you get those awesome background textures? Like on the stone cross?

A lot of the textures (like on the cross) are actually brushes I made in Photoshop.

I basically had been collecting textures and stuff over the last few years. I was layring the textures in Photoshop for the longest time, until someone suggested taking my more common textures I use and making a brush out of them... So I did. A lot of the textures I used for the basis of them I collected here and there from various places all over the web.
