Description Commission for a client. He wanted a redesign of the Bride of Frankenstein, not being based on the Elsa Lanchester version. He sent me some snippets of the original novel, giving her description... Which actually sounded a lot like She-Hulk, as opposed to the version we're all familiar with all these years. She was grown, as opposed to swen together with spare parts. Like eight feet tall, actual Adonis-like features, and it seemed more like Doctor Frankenstein was more horrified by the Bride not because of her appearance, but because the damn thing worked and seemed to work too well. (The whole "beating God at his game" thing.)

Actually, this commission actually inspired a project that's something bigger and more grander... But I can't get into it right now. I need to write a script first.

Hope you all like.

I can see why the monster wanted her

Outstanding work on this pic. I think that the strongest part of this pic is the background.

This is an excellent rendition. Sadly though, if one were to remake frankenstein and use this original context to create the Bride people would cry out that the spirit of the original was destroyed.

The original Bride was GROWN, as opposed to being cobbled together from the organs, limbs, etc., of dead human females ? THAT I didn't know. Maybe Mary Shelley was predicting something like cloning or genetic engineering.
That would make her more like a flesh & blood android, robot or maybe a " Blade Runner " - type Replicant than the concept given by the movies.
& BTW - She's REALLY gorgeous !! One might even say HOTTTT !!

I like this but no offense, I do prefer the Karloff version of Frankenstein's monster

A new project, huh? I'm intrigued.
And what were they thinking when they gave Elsa Lanchester that hairdo? Were people really scared of that movie back then?

That hair had more to do with the lighting that brought her to life
