Always been a fan of both shows... Always wondered who would come out victorious in a battle between the two. (Obviously they wouldn't kill each other... They're both good guys. But it still would be an interesting battle.Related content

I don't know which one of them would win, but I think they'd both come out of it much more dangerous than they were before.

Because that's an episode of Deathbattle I wanna see.
Though think about it. Kenshin is always much more deadly when he lets himself sink back into his Battousai personality, and Deathbattle specifically says part of their rules include no inhibitions against killing. With all the skill that Kenshin gets over the course of the series, bolstered by his killer instinct... I don't think Jack has much of a chance.
That being said, I never paid much attention to the Samurai Jack series.

Well let's just say that humans are in the minority of foes Jack's faced. XD Also his blade, unlike Jack, is indestructible. Plus his stamina is practically superhuman.

Problem is that Jack is not used to fighting other people, he is trained for it, but not used to it.
Kenshin has been fighting other people for a longer time. The problem he would face is his sword's edge is on the wrong side, and Jack's different methods of training that may allow him to counter most of the things he may do.

Yes, but think of Fezsick from The Princess Bride. He was able to fight and defeat over 10 people at once, yet lost to a single person. Why? Because you fight multiple people differently than you fight a single person. It's the same reasoning here; just because Jack has defeated more monstrous things than people doesn't mean that he automatically beats normal humans, because you fight them differently. While I think that Jack would still win, you have to acknowledge that Perosna22 makes a valid point instead of just insisting that he's wrong because you want him/her to be.

Fezsick lost because Wesley's fighting tactic countered his, which was to over-power him, all Wesley had to do was get a choke and last until he passed out. You or me could do the same thing.

Kenshin is the better swordsmen but Jack has a much better and more diverse warrior and civic education.

It'd be a cool fight and on a show would be portrayed as close. But when you put their achievements and what they face on a regular basis, Jack would come on top in the end. He can deflect bullets, take down elemental gods and legendary demons, can jump inhumanly high,can survive reentry into the Earth, etc...
Kenshin just takes down superhuman swordsman. He may be able to beat Jack in mobility, but if Jack can match bullets multiple bullets at once, he can react to Kenshin.

Ohhhh boy....this battle would take a while if Jack and Kenshin was gonna go at it. Sure Kenshin got Jackie Boy on the speed, technique and force, but Jack got experience, agility and well, a magical sword that has a habit cutting through almost anything.
If it was close combat, I definetly give it to Jack...but that's if he can TOUCH Kenshin.
Like I said, this could take a while
BTW, excelltn picture, I love it that you have Jack looking like Lone Wolf and more grizzled than Kenshin.

I always hoped Genndy would try a "crossover" with those two (he's such an obvious anime fan anyway, I'm sure he'd have heard of RK). He wouldn't necessarily have to name the character Kenshin...just give him the scar and... XD
I digress. A great idea! I'd love to see them battle it out, but I'd also love to see them working together, seeing as how they both have serious issues with people coming after them to kill 'em.
