I had this drawn ad was going to put this up on Friday, the 30th birthday of Star Wars... But a certain artist here came down with an extremely nasty stomach virus and not only did he get really laid up and sick so here it is now... A few days late.Oh yeah, and for the record... I LIKED the new trilogy.

Do a search for Shaak Ti here on DA and see what comes up... Are you familiar with the cartoon series StarWars Clonewars ? In it several episodes were devoted to Shaak Ti fighting General GRievous, trying to keep him from capturing Chancellor Palpatine... Somehow, I'm still not sure on the how part, but somehow, that led to the idea that Shaak and Grievous were a romantic match made in even.

Awesome! The pose, lighting, colors are all great! I really like the stone pattern on the walls and the way the droids are faded out to keep ST in focus. Nice

My only quibble with this are her montrals (tentacles). They should run smoothly up to her horns. You kinda ave them as separated organs.

Ah, I see. That was probably to aid in simplifying the animation. I used my 12" action figure as a reference. Plus some photo refs from StarWars.com

Funny. I was just looking for Shaak Ti info on Google. She became one of my favorites by accident while playing Lego Star Wars. And from there I started noticing her in the movies and the cartoon. She's got the look. Great work, Mach!
