Description
Okay, long story short. About two years ago, I was set in stone to draw and do an online fan comic with the Transtech designs. 3H was putting out the Wreckers and the Universe comics, but let's be honest... The distributon of those was a little shaky. So I thougth I'd work on a Transtech web comic. I wasn't trying to get a job anywhere, I just wnated to drawn and write a story that I though was really fun. Well, things came up, and I never had a chance to even start on page one of it. Shame too, because I thought I had a really good story for it.
Taking place ten months after Beast Machines, The Decepticons returned to a Technorganic Cybertron, with the plans to conquer and destroy all Technorganic life on it. The Cybertronians weren't able to put up much of a fight from Megatron. Realizing they need help to defeat them 'Cons, Cheetor leads the gang (the guys from Beast shows) on an intergalatic quest to find the legendary Optimus Prime. Megatron get's cue of this and leads a small team out to stop Cheetor's group at any costs.
That's the rough gist of it all. Like I said, I thought I had a great script and one day I would love to get to drawing it (or con someone to draw it!) But right now, I got a lot on my table here with Shadowgirls, a Serrada Blue short story, and that Ricochet story... I'm afraid this is going to become one of those "would have been nice" things.
But in the meantime, I thought I'd show off the concept designs I had for a few of them. They're a little old and a little rough and the coloring is not exactly comparable to what I'm pulling off now. But I still liked them.
I based the designs with a little inspriation from the Draxall Hall Jump designa dn took my own twist on them. First up:
SILVERBOLT:
Matrix Templar
Being reworked from that wretched BM design, Silverbolt takes a few cues from not just the DHJ design, but the Naboo Shuttle from Episode II. (Which is kind of what he turned into.) He also carries the Star Saber now, which while I'm well aware that the Star Saber wasn't in the BM universe... I figured I'd add it in for fun. He ran around with his squire, Knightscream (yes that dude.) who I'm afraid I never got to make a design for him.

Great design job there. I must say though I look at his head (not his face) and I get a Thunderwing/Galvatron vibe from his helmet. The face is all Silverbolt though I can almost hear him saying something incredibly pompous when I look at his picture.

Yeah, I kind of wanted to take him back to the guy who sounded like "the Tick" and less like the brooding jerk he became in Beast Machines. I mean, I'm a fan of BM... But there were certain things about the show I really didn't like. "Silverbrood" was one of them.

There's something to be said for the way you designed Silverbolt's face. I do apologize, but I see "adorable puppy". *chuckles*

Well, I was going for that "Faithful Puppy Dog" look, so I guess I pulled that off right enough.

He looks great. And the story u come up with is just great, I hope u'll find some time in the future to do this comic because it would be a shame to lose such a good idea.
