I just keep staring and staring at it. It's so beautiful and mind cooling.

*frowns softly*
Someday I really need to give up on this art community thing.

Looks like the name of one of them Death or Black Metal bands written in some macabre lettering that renders the band's moniker all but indecipherable.

Really great photograph - very much like a haiku photograph in both subject matter and form.
Hope you are having a great day.

Impressive, all the more so with it being a photograph..
Made me think of barbed wire before reading that it was actually branches.

Because it's all spiky and could pass as text in an indecipherable font

Fantastic picture nonetheless

It's so simple - yet so absolutely visually stunning. It's also very conceptually and logically challenging. I like it!
Truly, there's more to this than meets the eye. Is this really a photograph? Is it a painting? Is it a sculpture? All of the above? I guess the truth is under the water.

You're welcome. Everything about this works. The contrast; the bold lines and the finer details; the framing. It's really one of those special pieces.

You don't appear to be a photographer, why would you call it a manipulation? It's not hard to do, find a still object in water and take a long exposure. It's a high-key technique which is standard in photography.

I think, what I meant, is if the scene actually looks exactly like this, or if you used some kind of technique to make it more interesting.

What makes you say that? It's a very narrow view that says if something is largely different from what is normally obtained from a medium or method it must be faked.

I don't know what you mean by "faked". If someone showed me a picture of a two headed dog, my first reaction is to ask them if they manipulated the photo.
I don't know if it's somehow an insult to photographers to ask if the photo actually looks like that cool in real life, or if they made it look cool.
