One of the largest industrial railway networks found in the Slovakia is part of the Slovnaft refinery. Its main connection with the country railways is via Bratislava Central Freight Station, (Bratislava-ÚNS, Ústredná nákladná stanica). There also exists old connection to the Podunajské Biskupice station that has not been used for many decades. Perhaps in time of need it could be quickly revived, and that is the reason why it was not yet removed.

On the photo, one of several Class 744.7 locomotives used by Slovnaft is hauling tank wagons from Bratislava-ÚNS to the refinery. The rail spur is crossing busy road where doubled rail crossing can be found , doubled for reason if main crossing is being repaired, the secondary backup crossing can be used in order to keep the traffic flowing.
